Diddy cheats his artists.

Yung Joc says that that he plans to file a lawsuit against Bad Boy Records and Block Entertainment for a host of contractual discrepancies, including failure to pay royalties and advances for his first two albums and charging "outrageous clearance fees" for his collaborations with other artists. "I haven't been paid any royalties since I've been out, after over a million albums sold," says Yung Joc. "For my first album, they gave me a $25,000 advance when I was supposed to get more...Then I had a million dollar budget for my second album, never even got an advance off of it. For the third one they hit me with another $25,000, like I'm some chump in this shit. And I just got tired of it."

While Yung Joc says his main grievance is with Block Entertainment, the company that brought him to Bad Boy Records, he also expressed anger over his label's lack of support. "Diddy said he's got to stay out of it because it's between me and Block Entertainment," Yung Joc explains. "I was never signed to Block Entertainment, but they've been interfering with a lot of my business. I feel like [Bad Boy] isn't doing anything to try to intervene and help the situation." ...Read more

Tyrese May Be In The Clear

The good people of TMZ have gotten their hands on the pre-nup of Black Ty AKA Tyrese and future ex Norma Gibson. By the looks of things, she won't be getting much if anything. The pre-nup says that Norma gets none of Tyrese's possessions, and $50,000 for every year they were married. But they were only married for 10 months.
It also states that if either of them files for divorce, Norma has to get out of their house by 60 days, or Tyrese can kick her ass out accompanied by a court order. Score for Tyrese.

Last month a judge ordered Tyrese to pay over $65,000 to Norma, plus $6,230 a month in support, $2,730 for rent, and $800 for car payments.

Dr. Martin Luther King's children seem to have a history of trying to profit off of their father's words and images. People are now upset over the fact they are charging the National Memorial Project Foundation for a memorial that will be dedicated to Dr. King. The King Children are charging the foundation $800,000 for the use of his words and image. "I don't think the Jefferson family, the Lincoln family ... I don't think any other group of family ancestors has been paid a licensing fee for a memorial in Washington," said Cambridge University historian David Garrow, who won a Pulitzer Prize for his biography of King. "One would think any family would be so thrilled to have their forefather celebrated and memorialized in D.C. that it would never dawn on them to ask for a penny." source

Day26 is predicted to score their second number one record with 'Forever And A Day.' The album has been predicted to move over 100,000 units. But it stills faces competition from Miley Cyrus' Hanna Montana bullshit and Rascal Flatts' new album. source

British star M.I.A. returned to the stage at the coachella concert in Indio, California. She recently gave birth to son Ikyd in February. She gave the security detail some trouble after concert goers stormed the stage when she invited them to join her for a performance of 'Bird Flu.'

First Couple Barack and Michelle Obama released their tax returns today. They earned a combined $2,656,902 last year, which mainly came from the sales of the president's two books. They paid a total of $933,206 in federal and state taxes. They received a $26,000 tax refund. source

Former hit-making producer Scott Storch was arrested last Friday for grand theft auto. Scotty boy supposedly began leasing an Bentley GT from Atlas Leasing Company, the owners of the vehicle, back in February 2006. The owners claim that Scott Storch has caused them to lose about $65,000 in profit because he had not turned over the car and he hasn't been paying on it either. source
