Mariah's Obsessed

Listen: Obsessed
I'm sorry, but this sounds like everything else on the radio. And autotune, MiMi??? Nooooooo... But then again, at first I wasn't feeling "Touch My Body," but it grew on me. This will probably grow on me too.

New Music

Here's 'I'mma Be,' new track from The Black Eye Peas. I'm liking this. It doesn't hit as hard as 'Boom Boom Pow,' but the track is still fire.

The Casey brothers, the twins from Jagged Edge, have leaked a new track titled 'Gin 'N Juice.' I'm not sure if means there's an upcoming project in the works, but the track is cool. I hoped that they come out with some bangers soon. I've always liked Jagged Edge.

Here's Wyclef Jean with 'We made It.' Produced by Floridian producers The Runners. Kinda mleh.

Here's a unreleased track from Brandy titled 'Back & Forth.' I'm guessing this is leftovers from has latest album 'Human.' It's aiight, nothing special.

New Music

A new track from Mario has leaked. This is nothing special, which is unusual for Mario.

Listen: Chainzzz
Here's Queen Latifah with 'Chainazz.' This is definitely different for her. Apparently, this is the lead single from her upcoming seventh album 'Persona,' which will drop July 7th. I liking it. Sounds a bit '80s to me.

Here's Jennifer Lopez with 'What Is Love,' produced by Rodney Jerkins. Is it just me or has JLo's singing improved a lot since she first came out in 2000? As for the song, it's nothing special. It sounds very run-of-the-mill.

New Music

Here's Paula Abdul's new track 'Here For The Music,' which she premiered on Ryan Seacrest's radio show yesterday. She'll also perform the song on 'American Idol' Wednesday.

OK, now I'm excited. Lloyd is one of my favorite artists and here is a new track from him. Looks like he's about to come out with something new! YAAAAY! lol This track is hot!

New Music: Cassie - 'Not What Love Is' // R. Kelly - 'Take It To The Hotel' // One Chance - 'Gold Digger'

I really want to root for Cassie, I really do. No matter what some may say about her voice, her first album was a banger through and through. I loved it. She, Diddy, or whoever is deciding on what direction she takes with this upcoming album needs to realize that these mid-tempo cuts are not meant for someone with her limited vocal ability. This song is not bad, but she needs to speed up the pace.

Here's some new music from our perverted uncle. lol

I'm a fan of these guys. They are really talented and I want them to do well. But so much music of theirs has leaked and there is no word of a release date for an album no info on appearances....It doesn't look good. But I like this song.

New Music: Sean Paul - 'So Fine' // Diddy - 'Diddy Bop'

This is good. Sean Paul comes back with another banger.

I'm sorry but I just hate his voice. For me, he has ruined a number of good beats with that unmelodious voice of his. He's a great business man but terrible rapper.

New Music: The Clipse Feat. Kanye West - 'Kinda Like A Big Deal' // Kelly Rowland & David Guetta - 'When Love Takes Over'

Like I said before, the sh*t is hot. The track was co-produced by DJ Khalid.

I'm liking this. I wonder if on her upcoming project Kelly will go more in a euro-pop direction.

New Music: Ciara - 'G Is For Girl' // Trey Songz - 'Be Where You Are' // Mario - 'Lonely Girls Club'

This is alright. I could see this as a single, though. I find it interesting that this girl had single worthy tracks (High Price) under her belt but choose to release the dreadful 'Never Ever' and the tired 'Go Girl.'

I like this. This is a good mid-tempo jam. I'm starting to anticipate new tracks from Trey.

New Music: Christina Milian - 'Zipper' (Snippet)//Teairra Mari Feat. Kanye West - 'Diamonds'

This is hot, I must admit. Maybe all of that publicity whoring will pay off this time.

New Music: Cassie Feat. The Dream - 'Keep On Lovin' Me'

I guess the half baldie stunt came just in time for two new singles to drop.

Prince Sings About Salma Hayek

In his song 'Valentina,' Prince sings praises for newlywed Salma Hayek. 'Valentina' is also the name of Hayek's daughter. The lyrics are:

"Hey Valentina, tell your mama she should give me a call/When she get tired of runnin' after you down the hall/And she's all worn out from those late-night feedings/and she's ready for another rock and roll meeting"

New Music: Cassie Feat. Puff Daddy - 'Must Be Love'

Listen: Must Be Love
Unlike many other people, I really like Cassie's music. I enjoyed her first album and I really hoped that she would team up with Ryan Leslie again because the chemistry that they had was undeniable. Plus, Ryan did a good job supplying uptempo beats that hid Cassie's shortcomings (her lack of vocal ability). But a reunion between the two seems highly unlikely now or in the near future. With that said, this song is just o.k., nothing special. I've never liked Diddy as a rapper. I hate his voice. He's ruined a lot of good beats for me. I'm sure a video is in the works for it. But Cassie and her handlers must realize that for her to be successful, she needs to bring back the uptempo club bangers like her first hit, 'Me & U.'
BTW, did Diddy change his name back to Puffy?

New Music: Rick Ross, Yung Joc, Promise

Here's Rick Ross featuring Kanye West, T-Pain, and Lil' Wayne. Sounds like a winner to me.
Here you have Yung Joc featuring DJ Khaled giving his usual standardized club thumper. If it ain't broke......
Listen: In My City
Here's Promise featuring Drake. Both are coming from Toronto. This is Aiight, but I still like Drake, he's becoming one of my favorites.

New Music: No Doubt - 'Stand And Deliver'

Here's some new music from one of my favorite bands, No Doubt with 'Stand And Deliver.' I don't hate nor do I like it, it's just, hmmph. Anyway, No Doubt will be performing this song on May 11th on The CW's Gossip Girl. source

New Music: Teairra Marie Feat. Rick Ross - 'Cause A Scene Remix'// Dawn Richard - 'Trip City'// Meagan Good - 'Starstruck'

This sounds like a winner. Word has it that Teairra is now filming a video for the track in Las Vegas with Flo Rida rapping on it rather than Officer Ricky.

Listen: Trip City
A swing and a miss, Dawn. Go back and try again.

Listen: Starstruck

Um.........I like her movies.

New Music: Day26 - "Get Away Girl"

Here's a new track possibly from Day26's new album "Forever and A Day" set to be released April 14th.

New Music: Mario - "Afraid To Cry"

I haven't heard of a release date for Mario's upcoming album but leaked music has been pouring unto the net. But this track is beautiful, simply beautiful. I'm getting Michael Jackson's "She's Out Of My Life" vibes from this.
