Jamie Foxx Wants To Play Mike Tyson In Biopic

Jamie Foxx says he wants to bring Mike Tyson's life story to the movie screen and believes that he's the one that can portray him. He says:
"I think I would have to play Mike Tyson. I've talked to Mike several times and his story is the most tragic American story...Mike's story is
about what America and the world is about today...Coming up at 18 years old and getting his $60 million and not teaching him what taxes are about, about vultures, about people who will never be real with you as long as you have the money...I'm working on securing the rights to the movie."

I think Jamie is a very talented actor and I do believe that he could pull it off unlike some other wannabe "actors" *cough*Beyonce. But is it wise for him to portray another life figure after already receiving the highest of accolades for his portrayal of Ray Charles?

Oh Hell Naw!

Beysus is in talks to play Eartha Kitt in a biopic. She says:

"I was going to do a film about Eartha Kitt. It's a great story, but I don't know if it's still happening....If it does, it'll just fall into place."

What is the deal with Hollywood producers? Whether they realize it or not, there are many super-talented black actresses in Hollywood who could play this role and thrive. This could be a potential Oscar winning role, for an actress with actual talent that is. I know plenty of Queen Creole stans who are mentally fit to realize that the bish CAN'T ACT. I doubt this chick could play herself effectively in a movie. SMDH source

In other Lace Front news:

"Lights...Somebody's gettin' fired."

Thats really cold of Holy Beysus©ONTD to fire Michelle Williams on the spot like that. Doesn't she realize we're in a recession? Damn.

Beyonce Has A Hit Movie?

Who in their right mind would pay money to see this movie? I can understand sneaking in to see it, but actually paying? Maybe the people who went to see it did it for the unintentional comedy.

All I know is that Pimp Daddy Knowles did the right thing by keeping it at a PG-13 rating so the young stans could see their beloved Queen Lace Front in her latest hackery. Also, they kept movie critics from having their usual private screening of the movie. I guess that people hadn't caught on to the huge barrage of panning that movie critics have been giving this trash. This is Beyonce's first non-flop since 'Dreamgirls.'

Here's The weekend box office numbers:
1. Obsessed - $28.5 million
2. 17 Again - $11.7 million
3. Fighting - $11.4 million
4. The Soloist - $9.7 million
5. Earth - $8.5 million
6. Monster Vs. Aliens - $8.5 million
7. State of Play - $6.9 million
8. Hannah Montana - $6.4 million
9. Fast and Furious - $6.1 million
10. Crank: High Voltage - $2.4 million

'The Soloist' took in under 10 million? I wonder if Jaime is feeling the heat from the Miley Cyrus comments. ...Read more

Vin Diesel And Paul Walker Cover Entertainment Weekly

The sexy Vin Diesel and gorgeous Paul Walker grace the upcoming edition of Entertainment Weekly. Both stars express how grateful they are for the success of the 'Fast & Furious franchise., with Vin Diesel saying:

"This just happens to be a high. I’m just so appreciative and grateful that all these people that I talk to, verbally and nonverbally, through my films all showed up at the theater. They came out in droves—double the amount the studio thought we were going to appeal to. That is such a cool feeling. I’m just high on life at the moment.”

As for Paul Walker:

“I didn’t do the third movie, and the fans let me know how disappointed they were, they were like, ‘Why didn’t you come back? What—you think you’re too good for Fast & Furious?’ It’s a lousy eeling.”

A fifth installment of Fast & Furious is on the way. Has anybody seen the last one? I stopped watching after the second one.

The Three Stooges Movie?

Hollywood always has to f*ck with the classics, huh? According to reports, MGM studios and the Farrelly Brothers are about to make a film adaption of "The Three Stooges" and they have made a determination for the cast. Playing Larry will be Sean Penn, Jim Carrey will be Curly, and Benicio Del Torro as Moe? Keep in mind that the movie will not be a biopic but a comedy. I can see Jim Carrey in the movie, I think it'll be a strech to imagine Sean Penn, a two-time Oscar winner, in a comedy. But Benecio Del Toro? I don't get it.
